Of the total number of the first-time registered road motor vehicles and articulated vehicles in the second quarter of 2023, produced in 2023, relative to the total number of registered vehicles, the most represented are articulated vehicles (50.5%), while the smallest share goes to new passenger vehicles (13.6%).

During the 2nd quarter of 2023, it can be noted that the number of first time registered mopeds, motorcycles and agricultural tractors increased, while other vehicles decreased. The greatest number of passengers cars was produced by the following manufacturers: Volkswagen, Opel, Audi, Škoda and Renault.

Based on the results, it can be concluded that the most frequent number of freight vehicles was of the capacity up to 999 kg, as well as that the greatest number of such vehicles was with diesel motor energy.

Regarding the recently manufactured passengers’ vehicles, the number of vehicles of the engine size of up to 1399 cm3 prevailed; expressed in percentages, the number of vehicles with petrol motor energy was also dominant relative to those with diesel motor energy.

Total number of injury road accidents with persons killed in thesecond quarter of 2023 decreased by 6.0%, relative to the same period 2022. Decrease of injury road accidents with injured persons outside built-up areas amounted to 6.6%.

Number of casualties in the second quarter of 2023 was decreased by 6.9%, respective to the same quarter of 2022, and number of killed persons outside built-up areas decreased by 3.9%.

Number of killed pedestrians in the second quarter of 2023 increased by 3.8% relative to same quarter of 2022.
