Number of live births in the Republic of Serbia in the month January 2023 amounted to 5 401. Compared with the same month of the previous year, when the number of live births was 4 829, noted was the increase in live births by 572, i.e. 11.8%.

Number of deaths in the Republic of Serbia in the month January 2023 amounted to 9 372, and if related to the same month 2022, when it was 11 392, it recorded decrease by 2 020, or 17.7%.
