In this statistical release, presented are the preliminary data on live births and deaths after the facts of births and deaths are entered into the register books. The data are presented by the months of registration, i.e. entering the data into the Registers in 2021 and 2022.

Number of live births in the Republic of Serbia in the period January – November 2022 amounted to 56 807. Compared with the same period of the previous year, when number of live births was 56 648, noted was the increase in live births by 159, i.e. 0.3%.

Number of deaths in the Republic of Serbia in the period January – Novembar 2022 amounted to 102 126, and if related to the same period 2021, when it was 123 492, it recorded decrease by 21 366, or 17.3%.
