In the 2021 calendar year in the Republic of Serbia, 39 956 students graduated at all levels of studies and at all higher education institutions.

Of the total number of graduated students, 15 508, i.e. 38.8%, are men and 24 448, i.e. 61.2%, are women.

A total of 31 519 students graduated both at State and private universities, among whom 78.5%, i.e. 24 736 students graduated at State and 21.5%, i.e. 6 783 at private universities.

A total of 8 437 students graduated both at State and private higher vocational schools, among whom 84.2% graduated at State and 15.8% at private higher vocational schools.

Observed by the way of financing, of the total number of students 37.2% were budget beneficiaries, 46.2% were self-financing and 16.6% were financed from the budget and self-financing.
