For the third time, we are conducting The time use survey
The Survey on time use begins on April 5th, 2021, and ends at the end of May 2022.
The aim of this survey is to collect data on how the inhabitants of the Republic of Serbia use their time every day during 24 hours, i.e. which activities they are engaged in - how much time they spend at work, in performing routine household activities, studying, socializing, watching TV, walking, sleeping etc.
We ask the households, selected by the random sampling method, to participate in the Survey. Selected households will be notified with letters about the visit of an authorized interviewer. The interviewer will carry with him/ her the identification card of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, authorization to work, as well as a protective mask, having in mind the respect of protective measures due to the virus pandemic.
We particularly emphasize that this Survey is anonymous and that selected households are registered under a code. Individual data from the Survey have the character of a business secret for all participants. The collected data must not be communicated to anyone and will be used exclusively for statistical processing. Their publication will be done only in an aggregated (collective) form by individual demographic and economic categories.
