After the workshop in Novi Sad, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia held another workshop "Improving Local Planning through Data and Digital Solutions" in Vrnjačka Banja on June 10, 2026, as part of the project "EU4SORS - Development of a modern statistical system".

Representatives of local self-governments, regional chambers of commerce and other participants were presented with the activities implemented in the development of decision support systems, as well as the results of the Survey on data needs. Special emphasis was placed, once again, on the role of official statistics as an analytical service and on a new platform for interactive data visualization and analysis.

These activities continue to strengthen the capacity of local stakeholders to use data in planning and decision-making.
