In scope of the project "EU4SORS - Development of a Modern Statistical System", the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia organized the workshop "Establishment of a Statistical Population Register" on May 14 and 15, 2026, in Vrdnik, with the aim of reviewing the results of the previous work regarding the implementation of this component of the Project, as well as exchanging knowledge and experience among participants and agreeing on joint activities in the coming period. 

The workshop was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, the Office for IT and eGovernment, the Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, the Republic Health Care Fund, the Republic Institute for Social Protection, the Business Registers Agency, the Secretariat for Public Revenues of the City of Belgrade, the National Employment Service, the PE "Post of Serbia" and the Standing Conference of Cities and Municipalities. 

The project "EU4SORS - Development of a Modern Statistical System" is mostly financed by the European Union (85.71%) and co-financed by funds from the budget of the Republic of Serbia (14.29%).
