The Memorandum of Understanding defines key objectives that are reflected in strengthening the bilateral cooperation through capacity building regarding experiences and best practices exchange, with a focus on official statistics’ modernization and harmonization. This step represents a significant move forward in improving regional cooperation and supports the continuous efforts of both institutions in the field of digital transformation of statistical processes.

The partnership between the two statistical institutions has already proven to be very successful, especially through IST platform implementation, developed by SORS. Colleagues from the Kyrgyz Republic are successfully using this system to support  modernization and improvement of the efficiency of their statistical production processes.

SORS expresses its sincere gratitude to our colleagues from the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic for their trust and openness to the implementation of our solutions.
