The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (SORS) organizing an evaluation workshop titled “Local-level Data – Basis for Data-informed Decision-making“, which will be held from 27 tо 29 August 2025 in the Hotel Zepter in Vrnjačka Banja.

The aim of the workshop is to familiarise the participants with the activities realised so far within the subcomponent. The focus will be on the analysis of the results of the pilot survey carried out in local self-management authorities and regional chambers of commerce selected in the sample. All the challenges faced during the preparation and conduction of the pilot survey, examples of good practice and propositions for advancing the main survey, which is planned to be carried out next year, will also be presented.

The workshop is realised within the subcomponent Decision-making Support System on Local Level (DMSS LL), which is part of the project “EU4SORS – Development of a Modern Statistical System“. The project is carried out by the SORS with the financial support of the European Union through IPA 2022 Programme, aiming at strengthening the capacities of the statistical system of Serbia in providing advanced analytical solutions.
