Prime Minister Vučević pointed out that Miladin Kovačević, through his work and commitment, became a true role model and a great example for many, and that his career in SORS was dedicated to the precise and meticulous data collection and analysis - which was a key contribution to important decisions-making in our country.

She stated that she believed that membership in the Council of Governors was one of his most cherished responsibilities and that the two of them had long and well-organized co-operation, including high level respect for each other. "He was a man with whom you could have an argumentative conversation even when he did not agree with you."
The governor reminded of the old Roman thinking that great people did not die but lived!
Emir Kremić emphasized that the statistics of the entire region has been left without a top expert and sincere friend, who generously shared his great knowledge and experience. He reminded that Miladin Kovačević will also be remembered for one big gesture - his offer to help employees, through the Government of Serbia, with vaccinations during covid.
Katarina Stančić from SORS said that Miladin Kovačević was a great professional, educator and mentor to everyone in SORS. "In addition, he also helped us privately, took care of our health, the conditions in which we live and selflessly helped us in all fields. Shortly, Miladin was our great father. He left as he wanted to, preparing to ride a bicycle."
