Prices of goods and services used for personal consumption in January 2020 in relation to December 2019 increased by 0.6% on average. Consumer prices in January 2020, increased by 2.0% in relation to January 2019.

In 2019 in relation to 2018, consumer prices increased by 1.7%, on average. Observed by main groups according to the destination of consumption in January 2020 in relation to the previous month, increase of prices was noted in the groups Food and non-alcoholic beverages (1.6%), Recreation and culture (1.4%), Transport (0.4%), Health (0.3%) and Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (0.2%). Decrease of prices was noted in the groups Clothing and footwear (-1.3%), Communication (-0.6%), Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house (-0.3%) and Restaurants and hotels (-0.1%).

Prices of other goods and services mostly remained unchanged.
