In total expenditures for the introduction of technological innovations, the share of expenditures for scientific-research activities amounted to over 27%.

In relation to the total income of innovating enterprises, the share of the income from the introduction of product/service innovations that were new to the market was 3.6%, and those that were new to the enterprises were 10.1%.

The largest number of medium-sized business entities employs 1% to 4% of highly educated, while almost a third of large business entities employ between 10% and 24% highly educated staff.
