International trade in goods

External trade of goods provides data on value of exported and imported goods expressed in three currencies (RSD, EUR and USD). In addition to these indicators, the following indicators are also provided: index of increase/ decrease of exports and imports in relation to the same period of the previous year, trade balance, participation in total exports/ imports as well as export- import balance according to CA and SITC classifications, by country of destination/origin, economic zones of countries and their development, economic purpose of products and types of external trade activities.

Information

We have made methodological revision of data, which refers to the coverage of goods in storage, primarily on the import side, where the corrected value for a part of goods has been twice recorded, and it refers to the coverage by the special trade system. The corrections relate to 2017 and 2016, and subsequently also to 2015. The revision was made for the data series 2014 as well.

The overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for the period January-February 2024 amounted to:

   - USD 11459.2 million - which was an increase of 1.7% compared to the same period last year;

   - EUR 10550.3 million - which was an increase of 0.6% compared to the same period last year.
