In August 2026, the number of 2 443 building permits was issued, presenting the decrease of 3.9% when compared to August 2025. Out of the total number of permits issued in August 2026, 82.2% related to buildings, and 17.8% to civil engineering constructions. When only buildings are concerned, 84.5% of permits related to residential buildings, and 15.5% to non–residential ones, while regarding civil engineering constructions the largest number related to pipelines, communication and electric power lines (66.5%).
