Mr. Branko Josipović, Acting Director of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (SORS), and Ms. Nevena Mitrović, Acting Assistant Director of the Development Department at SORS, visited the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During their visit, they held a highly productive meeting with the Mr Budagov Tahir Yagub, Chairman and top management of the Azerbaijan Statistical Office. The discussions focused on several key areas, including recent developments within the Serbian Statistical Office, advancements in the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and future opportunities for cooperation between the two institutions.

Both parties expressed a strong commitment to enhancing bilateral collaboration and agreed to immediately begin preparations for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will outline the framework for future cooperation. The MoU will ensure a structured and mutually beneficial partnership between the two offices.
