Consumer price indices by COICOP, July 2021


Prices of goods and services used for personal consumption in July 2021 in relation to June 2021 increased by 0.2% on average. Consumer prices in July 2021, increased by 3.3% in relation to July 2020. In July 2021 in relation to December 2020, consumer prices increased by 3.7%, on average.

Observed by main groups according to the destination of consumption in July 2021 in relation to the previous month, increase of prices was noted in the groups Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (2.2%), Recreation and culture (2.1%), Transport (1.6%), Restaurants and hotels (0.6%), Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house (0.3%) and in the groups Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels and Health (by 0.1% each). Decrease of prices was noted in the groups Food and non-alcoholic beverages (-0.9%) and Clothing and footwear (-0.7%).

Prices of other goods and services mostly remained unchanged.
