The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia publishes the final list of the selected candidates/members of the teams that will conduct the MICS7 survey from 15 September to 15 December 2025. The final ranking list has been formed after the all the phases of the selection and interviews with the candidates.
According to the preliminary data, operating income in non-financial business economy in the Republic of Serbia in the second quarter of 2025 increased by 1.5 % relative to the same period of the previous year, while compared to the first quarter of 2025, the increase of 7.8% was noted. In the Information and Communication Sector, operating income were increased by 16.3% relative to the same period of the previous year, while compared to the first quarter of 2025, the increase of 13% was noted.
The total number of passenger road motor vehicles that entered the Republic of Serbia in the second quarter 2025 decreased by 6.3%, compared to the same period of the previous year. The number of vehicles registered in our country increased by 3.2%, while the number of vehicles registered abroad decreased by 12.4%. Among foreign vehicles, the largest number was registered in Germany, 6.7%, Hungary, 5.0% and Austria, 4.2%.
Of the total number of first-time registered road motor vehicles and trailers during the second quarter of 2025, produced in 2025, in relation to the total number of registered vehicles, trailers are the most common (55.4%), while new passenger cars are the least common (15.3%).
The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia has launched a new GeoCensus portal, an interactive geoportal that provides access to the basic data from the 2022 Census of Population, Households, and Dwellings, as well as the 2023 Agricultural Census.
Total value of sale and purchase of agricultural, forestry and fishing products in the Republic of Serbia in the second quarter 2025, relative to the same period 2024, decreased by 12.5% at current prices.
Total turnover value of agricultural products on green-markets in the Republic of Serbia in the second quarter of 2025, relative to the same quarter 2024, increased by 10.3% at current prices.
The real GDP growth in the second quarter of 2025, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, amounted 2.1%.
According to seasonally adjusted GDP data, gross domestic product increased by 1.1% in the second quarter of 2025, compared to the previous quarter.
