The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia publishes the final list of the selected candidates/members of the teams that will conduct the MICS7 survey from 15 September to 15 December 2025. The final ranking list has been formed after the all the phases of the selection and interviews with the candidates.

The overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for the period January - June 2025 amounted to:

   - USD 40816.3 million - which was an increase of 11.4% compared to the same period last year;

   - EUR 37406.5 million - which was an increase of 10.4% compared to the same period last year.

In the Republic of Serbia, in June 2025, compared to June 2024, number of tourist arrivals was by 1.0 % lower, while number of tourist overnight stays was by 2.8 % lower.

In June 2025, compared to June 2024, number of overnight stays of domestic tourists was by 3.4% lower while number of overnight stays of foreign tourists was by 2.0% lower.

In the 2^nd quarter of 2025, real GDP increased by 2.0% in comparison to the corresponding period of the previous year.

The calculation of quarterly GDP for the 2^nd quarter 2025, which is more detailed and compiled at lower levels of aggregation, will be published in statistical release Quarterly GDP in the Republic of Serbia on September 1, 2025.

The industrial production in June 2025 increased by 2.5% relative to June 2024.

According to the preliminary results, the turnover of retail trade in the Republic of Serbia in June 2025, compared to the same month last year, increased by 7.7% at current prices and at constant prices, by 4.3%.

Comparing the retail trade turnover in the first six months 2025 with the same period 2024, it increased by 5.4% at current prices, and by 2.2% at constant prices.

Total number of employed in the second quarter of 2025 amounted to 2 370 103 persons. Relative to the same quarter of the previous year, total registered employment increased by 0.1%, i.e. by 2 933 persons.

The sections of activity with the largest increase in the number of the employed are Administrative and support service activities (growth of 11 702 persons), Information and communication (growth of 3 736 persons), Accommodation and food service activities (growth of 2 548 persons) and Arts, entertainment and recreation (growth of 1 544 persons).

Number of live births in the Republic of Serbia in the period of January-June 2025 amounted to 27 118. Compared with the same period of the previous year, when the number of live births was 28 606, noted was the decrease in live births by 1 488 i.e. 5.2%.

Number of deaths in the Republic of Serbia in the period of January-June 2025 amounted to 48 568, and if related to the same period of the previous year, when it was 48 864, it recorded decrease by 296, or 0.6%.
