In the Republic of Serbia, in 2025, the procedure upon criminal reports was completed for 69 641 adult perpetrators of criminal offenses, which is by 5% less than in 2024. 22 498 adult persons were convicted, which is by 9% less when compared to the previous year.

In 2025, the largest number of criminal offenses for which adult persons were legally convicted concerned criminal offenses against human health (23.2%), property (20.3%), marriage and family (12.8%). One person was sentenced to life imprisonment, and four persons to a prison sentence of 30-40 years. The prison sentence makes up 28.1% of all sentences, and the conditional sentence (imprisonment) makes up 41.2%.
