The overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for January – July 2026 amounted to:
- USD 54172.8 million - which was an increase of 12.1% compared to the same period last year;
- EUR 46596.2 million - which was an increase of 6.3% compared to the same period last year.

Total expenditures for research and development activities (R&D) in 2025 amounted to over RSD 94 billion RSD (94,428,928 in thousands), and their participation in GDP amounts 0,97%.
In total expenditures for R&D, the share of gross investments is 5%, while the share of current expenditures is 95%.

In 2025, compared with 2024, the number of reported responsible persons and legal entities for economic violations increased by 35%. The number of convicted responsible persons in legal entities was up by 1%, while the number of convicted legal entities remained unchanged.

- USD 46238.2 million - which was an increase of 13.0% compared to the same period last year;

In the 2nd quarter of 2026, real GDP increased by 3.6% in comparison to the corresponding period of the previous year.
The calculation of quarterly GDP for the 2nd quarter 2026, which is more detailed and compiled at lower levels of aggregation, will be published in statistical release Quarterly GDP in the Republic of Serbia on August 31, 2026.

The overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for the period January-December 2025 amounted to:
- USD 84554.6 million - which was an increase of 12.3% compared to the same period last year;
- EUR 74935.9 million - which was an increase of 7.7% compared to the same period last year.

Juvenile perpetrators of criminal offences, 2025
The total number of crime reports against juvenile perpetrators of criminal offences in 2025 was 2 743, i.e. increase by 1% relative to 2024. 1 993 motions for pronouncing sanctions were submitted, i.e. increased by 13%, while number of sentenced juveniles was 1 495, i.e. increase of 9% relative to 2024.
