The two-day event gathered heads and experts of national statistical offices and international organizations to exchange experiences on the role of digitalization in modern statistics.

The discussions focused on how digital transformation is reshaping data collection, processing, and dissemination, as well as on innovative solutions that strengthen public trust in official statistics. Key topics included the development of digital data ecosystems, improvement of data quality and reliability, process standardization, and increasing the user value of statistical information.

In his address, Maksat Turlubaev, Head of the Bureau of National Statistics of the ASPiR Republic of Kazakhstan, expressed his gratitude to all participants for their contribution to the development of statistics, emphasizing: “Statistics today is no longer just about collecting data — it is about creating an ecosystem where technology serves people and reliable information forms the basis for strategic decision-making.”
