Consumer price indices by COICOP, March 2021


Prices of goods and services used for personal consumption in March 2021 in relation to February 2021 increased by 0.5% on average. Consumer prices in March 2021, increased by 1.8% in relation to March 2020. In March 2021 in relation to December 2020, consumer prices increased by 1.6%, on average.

Observed by main groups according to the destination of consumption in March 2021 in relation to the previous month, increase of prices was noted in the groups Transport (2.2%), Food and non-alcoholic beverages and Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house (each by 0.6%), Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (0.3%), Health (0.2%) and in the groups Clothing and footwear and Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (each by 0.1%). Decrease of prices was noted in the groups Recreation and culture (-1.0%) and Communication (-0.2%).

Prices of other goods and services mostly remained unchanged.
