In 2020/2021 school year, classes were held in 518 regular upper secondary schools (454public and 64 private schools) and in 41public schools / classes for students with disabilities.

Regular upper secondary schools were attended by 248 605students, i.e. 123 364 females (49.6%) and 125 241males (50.4%). Schools/ classes for students with disabilities were attended by 2 320 students, 870 females (37.5%) and 1 450 males (62.5%).
