The total number of crime reports against juvenile perpetrators of crimes in 2018 amounted to   2 744 and was lower by 21% if compared to 2017. The number of submitted motions for pronouncing criminal sanctions (1 849) was lower by 7%, and the number of minors sentenced to criminal sanctions (1 548) was also lower by 5% in comparison to to the previous year.
In 2018, against juvenile perpetrators of criminal offences, the following educational measures were pronounced: public prosecutor for juveniles pronounced educational measures in 230 cases and in 59 cases it was the juvenile court judge pronouncing measures. In the same year, juvenile prison sentence was rendered for eight juveniles (0.5%).
