According to the data collected in the second quarter of 2019, value of construction works done on the territory of the Republic of Serbia increased by 22.3% at current prices, while at constant prices, the increase amounted to 18.9% relative to the second quarter of 2018.

Observed by regions in the Republic of Serbia, the value of construction works done in the second quarter 2019 compared with the same quarter 2018, noted the significant increase in Region Vojvodina (33,6%), then in Region Šumadije i Zapadne Srbije (25,9%), followed by Beogradski region (18,4%), while in Region Južne i Istočne Srbije the value of construction works done decreased by 2,5%, at constant prices.

Of the total value of works done in the second quarter 2019, 96,7% were performed on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, while 3,3% were performed on building sites abroad.

Value of works done by the contractors from the Republic of Serbia in the second quarter 2019, regarding works performed on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and abroad, increased by 22,5% relative to the second quarter 2018, at current prices, while at constant prices, the increase amounted to 19,2%.
