In the 2018 calendar year in the Republic of Serbia, 45 221 student graduated at all levels of studies at all higher education institutions.

Of the total number of graduated students in 2018, 18 488, i.e. 40.9%, are men and 26 733, i.e. 59.1%, are women.

 A total of 34 936, i.e. 78.0% students graduated both at State and private universities, among whom 27 225 students graduated at State and 22.0%, i.e. 7 711 at private universities.

A total of 10 285, i.e. 90.0%, students graduated both at State and private higher schools, among whom 9 255 students graduated at State and 10.0%, i.e. 1 030 at private higher schools. 

Observed by way of financing, of the total number of students 36.4% were budget beneficiaries, 49.8% were self-financing and 13.8% were financed from the budget and self-financing.
