Total quantity of wastewater in 2018 decreased by 1.3%, relative to the referent period 2017, of which the amount of wastewater discharged into wastewater collecting system decreased by 0.5% relative to 2017. The amount of wastewater discharged into septic tanks decreased by 3.4% compared to 2017.
Regarding wastewater discharge into public sewerage system in 2018, compared to 2017, households discharged by 1.2% less wastewater, wastewater discharged from the industrial sector noted the decrease of 3.5%, while other users discharged by 5.1% more wastewater.
In 2018, treated wastewater decreased by 1.1% compared to 2017 and the most frequently applied method was secondary treatment.
Wastewater collecting system in 2018 is by 0.8% longer relative to 2017, while the number of new connections to the system increased by 0.8% compared to 2017.
