According to the data collected in the first quarter of 2019, value of construction works done on the territory of the Republic of Serbia increased by 17.6% at current prices, while at constant prices, the increase amounted to 13.6% relative to the first quarter of 2018. Observed by type of constructions, value of construction works performed on buildings increased by 21.6%, and regarding civil engineering, the increase amounted to 8.7%, at constant process.

Value of construction works done in the first quarter 2019, noted the significant increase in Region Šumadije i Zapadne Srbije (38.8%), followed by Beogradski region (14.6%), and Region Vojvodine (11.4%), while in Region Južne i Istočne Srbije, the value of construction works done decreased by 7.3%, at constant prices.

Value of works done by the contractors from the Republic of Serbia in the first quarter 2019, regarding works performed on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and abroad, increased by 15.5% relative to the first quarter 2018, at current prices, while at constant prices, the increase amounted to 11.6%.
